Pablo Apis Park(#15)

QOD:A picture is worth 1,000 words. -unknown
How appropriate.
As planned, I returned to the scene in search of this park. We found it a short jog down the road. This was basically a small children's park, although there was a little picnic area and it is backed by a nice hill. We didn't venture into the hill with the bicycle-worn path. I wasn't up to running into a snake sunbathing in the morning warmth. What was unique at this park was that it had a separate play area for tots only. They even had a sign like Disneyland specifying the height limitations for using that area!

Looking up a tree.
Not time to rest yet!
Wildflowers.
Picnic area.
Size up your tot here. Cute.

Kid 'graffiti'. Xena already wet and bored with my photography.

There's fungus among us.
Being as this place held little interest for a 3 month old Shih-zhu; off we went back down to the Vail Ranch Park from yesterday to investigate further. Happy trails! I love how the sprinklers create a mist in the trees here...

Looking up a hill.
Flowers, just waking up to the sun.
These purple-painted drain covers indicate reclaimed (aka waste water) water. You canNOT drink it. I wonder if other states reclaim water as much as southern California?
