Kent Hintergardt Memorial Park(#8)

QOD: NO ONE is easy to live with ALL of the time.-unknown

I'm probably one of the worst! D says I'm 'high-maintenance'. Fortunately, he is a Director of Facilities--he loves high maintenance!

So here's today's park. Say that 3 times fast!Ok, sidebar. THIS guy pissed me off! (How do I Photo Shop a target on his back? Kidding!) He was mowing, obviously. However, I didn't feel that it was necessary for him to get up behind us and crawl along on our asses till we moved up against the hedges for him to go by. Couldn't he have skipped that bit till next circle around the park?! Not to mention all the fumes and crap that shot out of the mower--I have a major issue with this as my left eye is legally blind. I cannot afford for something to damage my good eye! Ok, done ranting. We continue to have our morning mist in the hills.Next topic. Xena is 4 months old now and just this past week has discovered 'up'. As in, trees, roofs, birds, light poles etc. Therefore, she walks around with her head pointed up much of the time. Comical! And, just this morning, she discovered her reflection in the glass fireplace door. She growled at it persistently. In order to stop this, I took her outside; only to be one-upped by her reflection in the sliding door!

Check out how the roots grow above ground for this tree on the hillside.More 'green' in my life would be pleasant...but I didn't mean a green dog! She was actually much greener by the time we left the park. Now I don't know whether to bathe her or trim her first?! I got new clippers so that I could cut that mop off. This was basically a large playing field for kids. Incidentally, the Pechanga(major local NA tribe in the area)Boys and Girls Club is housed here.Look! A little mushroom family! I have no idea how to get this shot up close and personal without being blurry. I tried multiple settings before conceding to this shot. Some other pretties.
And now, time to deal with the messy dog! Oh, and there was a tennis court across the street. Still no luck with finding an abandoned tennis ball. Darn, my (green)puppy would like that so much! Happy trails!

Hi Vanessa! Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice compliment. I really like your blog! I love visiting state and local parks and sometimes post pictures when I go there. Too hot right now to go anywhere but inside. I'll visit you again and I want to catch up on your older posts.

Cards That Pop!

Black makes colors really pop, there's no doubt about it. It's why we go to the classic 'little black dress' for spec...
